Scrub Daddy was the most successful product ever to be featured on Shark Tank. The unique Scrub Daddy sponge, which changes texture based on water temperature is now available world wide. In Australia the Scrub Daddy can be bought online as well as in certain supermarkets.
If you’re looking to pick up a Scrub Daddy sponge here is the latest availability in Australia:
Where to Get Scrub Daddy in Australia
Scrub Daddy is available for sale online. It can also be purchased at Coles supermarkets. Scrub Daddy’s other products including the Damp Duster, and Scour Daddy are also available online.
It used to be available at Bunnings stores in Australia but it looks like Bunnings is no longer stocking it.
Buying Scrub Daddy at Coles
The Scrub Daddy is available in Coles supermarkets. Although I can’t tell you if it’s available in all stores, it was for sale at our local Coles and is listed for sale on the Coles website.
Buying Scrub Daddy in Woolworths
Scrub Daddy is currently not available at Woolworths stores. Woolworths does sell the scrub daddy through the Woolworths Marketplace (their online shop), but it is not stocked within the actual supermarket.
What’s So Special About Scrub Daddy
Scrub Daddy is made from a special material that changes texture depending on water temperature. When immersed in hot water, the Scrub Daddy becomes soft like regular sponges and is perfect for washing up. When run under cold water, the Scrub Daddy goes hard and it can be used to scrub baked on foods.
Is Scrub Daddy Worth It?
Scrub Daddy retails for around $5 in Australia. This is slightly more expensive than the cheaper supermarket brand sponges. So is Scrub Daddy worth the extra cost? I’ve been trying out the Scrub Daddy in the kitchen for the last couple of weeks. The Scrub Daddy is a high quality sponge that appears to last longer than regular sponges. The fact that it can become hard when immersed in cold water means it’s perfect for scrubbing down glass cooktops and removing baked on food from pans. Overall I think Scrub Daddy is absolutely worth it. While I’ll continue to use (and love) Swedish dishcloths, I’m keeping my Scrub Daddy for cleaning my glass cooktop.
